motorola-milestone-3The Motorola Milestone Android 2.0 smartphone has just popped up on a UK site, SIM-free and ready for pre-order. UK site superetrader.co.uk has listed the Motorola Milestone for sale, with stock supposedly due for 7 December, priced £439.99 SIM-free. That’s a surprise, as Motorola’s official line is that the Motorola Milestone (Or Droid as it’s known in the US) is only headed to Germany and Italy. That’s great news for Brits, as the Motorola Milestone/Droid has been heralded as a serious iPhone contender thanks to Android 2.0 and a stunning 3.7-inch screen.

Very tempting ohmy.gif

But browsing through the Android market, it seems a lot of ppl with Droids have problems with many good apps. But I guess updates will be available in no time smile.gif

It's amazing: if you think iphone apps get loads of updates, you gotta see the android market...many apps have daily updates...some even more frequently. It's like a fulltime job keeping track lol.gif ; good thing you can backup your apps on the sd card and if an update doesn't work, you simply delete and then restore the old version. Me likes!!!

I'm shocked, by the way, how good Samsung's Galaxy Spica is!!! For the money it's easily the best phone I've tried in a while. Camera is sh*t, but hey tongue.gif

Expansys.com will be selling the Motorola Milestone exclusively in the UK on a SIM-free basis from December 4th 2009, for £449.99.

Although the date may change by a day or two, Expansys will be an exclusive supplier of the latest Motorola Android device in the UK.

The company is taking pre-orders now on its website
